Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust

In brief:Work to improve the fortunes of the Dartmoor pony by increasing their value as conservation grazing animals (across numerous sites and habitats), improving their saleability as recreational ponies and improving the handling skills of nature conservation organisations using unbroken ponies.
East of England Grazing Forum
Location:East Anglian region
In brief:Multi – organisational and sectoral partnership forum led by Natural England to tackle issues affecting the livestock industry in the eastern region. The organisation concentrates on improving grazing management within agri-environment schemes, on commons, designated and isolated sites. The project has assessed the feasibility of developing a saltmarsh beef / lamb brand and also the ecological, social and economic impacts of undergrazing in the eastern region.

Surrey Horse Pasture Project
