In brief:Aqualate Mere NNR is a large lowland reserve situated in the grounds of Aqualate Hall. Centred on Aqualate Mere - the largest natural lake in the West Midlands - the reserve also includes reedbeds, woodland and low-lying wet grassland. Natural England use Galloway cattle and Exmoor ponies to graze the wet grassland areas and have good handling facilities and lots of experience with both.
