Landholding: 5000 acres
Main Grazing: Wetland, moorland, heather hills and improved pastures
Livestock: 3200 ewes mules, black face, Llyns 450 suckler cows angus x
 
The Project: Neil gourlay is a successfull commercial farmer with a keen interest in the environment. He was this years winner of the farmers guardian "Green Energy farmer of the Year" competition, his hydro electric projects supplying the farm's power impressing the judges. The farm covers large areas of hill and moorland in stunning scenery.
 
The Work: The successfull candidate will gain unrivalled livestock experience, with calving starting first week of April. They will also undertake a carbon foot print measurement project.
